goooooood morning!
as you all know today is Vesak Day which also means that there is no school for today. hmmm.. my plan for today is to study for my common test that will be on the 7th june. call me no life, i dont care. maybe to you all holidays are when you go out with family or friends just to loosen up from all those stress that we faced during school or work.. once in awhile, i do agree. but when common tests are around the corner, i better stick my butt on the chair and study like a geek. hahaha..

my engmech lecturer once said "if you do not excel in your studies or any particular module, you have yourself to blame. stop blaming others, stop pointing fingers to anyone because of your failure in doing well in school or anything else. blame it to yourself because you didnt give a 101% effort to study well and concentrate during lecture. if you do not understand, go to the lecturers and ask for help. they will surely help as no lecturers want their students to fail. the decision is yours".

my family has constantly reminding me that i've got to do well in school so that i can get a diploma and insyaallah if i have a chance, i will continue to study at university and pursue for my degree. my goal is to get good job with good pay. i am totally aware of my family financial status. all this while i've been using my own money for school expenses, topping up my concession card and etc. i dont want to trouble my parents with money issue because they have their own set of problems to worry about. my parents has taught us siblings to be financially independent. that is why i have to control my spending on unnecessary things. well you know girls like me, we always want to buy this and want to buy that.. so i have to try to control myself on buying what i need and not what i want. after i get a stable job, insyallah, i can get all those things that i want with my very own hard-earned money. (:

then, later at night there will be a small kenduri for my 2nd brother just to pray for his safety during his national service . he will be serving ns starting on the 3rd june, this thurday. and may god bless him and hopefully he will survive those 2 years in ns like how 1st brother did. i cant believe im writing this but im sure i am going to miss him. i admit i always bad-mouthed him on how irritating and annoying he can be most of the times. however, he do have his good traits of being a good brother to me. no doubt about that. (:
