a day out with cousin (:
today marks the day that i have been waiting. im officially jobless! haha. well, nothing to be proud about though as no work means no money. but hey, i need a break. futhermore i still have to wait for my letter for my poly stuff. still waiting and yet the letter havent arrive.
i catch this movie 'Dear John' just now with dearest cousin at marina square. finally i was able to catch the movie. happy happy happy! we watch the 11:20am show. the earlier the better so it will be less crowded. i will rate it 5/5! totally an awesome love story. some may feel it is not a good movie but i like it. i didnt read the book so i dont have a clear vision whats gonna happen in the book. the movie looks fine to me. it may be a little drag on the front part but the storyline is good. the love story makes me so emotional until i cried like waterfall throughout most of the parts of the movie. haha. i tried to hold back the tears but i cant. call me a crybaby. i dont care. its just that the actions they made and the words they said really left a deep impression in me like as though im the one who is in the girl's position. hahaha. maybe i am just overreacting or what but one thing i know for sure that love hurts. thats for certain.
then headed to masjid sultan to do my prayers. lunched at burger king. with our stomach filled with burger, onion rings and french fries. we went to bugis street and shop! lets see... i bought 1 long-sleeved shirt and a belt while aishah bought earrings and cardigan. i owe aishah $10 since they dont accept nets. pfft! ever since i start working i've always wanted to buy any items from Charles & Keith. finally i get to buy one of their bags. woohoo! im a happy person. i've got 50% discount voucher. hence, from the original price of $59.90 i only have to pay $29.90. cheap right?! you will never gonna see that shop with the bag sellling at 20 or 30 over bucks for bags. its always more than 50 bucks. now im left with one of the voucher. i can either purchase at any Charles & Keith outlet or Pedro. my hands felt the itch to buy the shoes now. i'll just have to wait and see.. (:

anyway.....
since im soooo free now, lets talk about my work. i worked at Charles & Keith outlet at Citylink. that is the reason why i got the voucher! (: working life has taught me that some people may be harsh or evil or talk bad thing about you behind your back but thats life. we cant run away from it. we cant stop people from talking what they like and want to. as long as you stay strong, try to get along and adapt to the new surrounding, one fine day you will get use to it and treat it as just a minor setback which wont pull your hopes down to continue working. face it and overcome it. thanks to my family for the words of encouragement. i really need it that point of time and appreciate it. (:
at the beginning i dont feel welcomed at my working place. one of my friends felt the same way too. i admit i did some mistakes, be it minor or major but they can at least confront me or say it to me in a nice way. whatever it is, i wont go further on the details. buat darah up je just thinking about it. its the past so might as well dont dwell on it. as days passed, my relationship with my shop manager and colleagues are getting better. when the relationship gets better, my mood to work will increase. when you know them well enough, they are bunch of nice people. it just takes time for me to get to know them well. when i resigned mcm sayang gitu nk tinggal tmpt keje tu since i can cling well with my mates and getting use to the hectic surrounding. oh well, i can always pay them a visit at the shop whenever i'm free.
now that im not working, there will be no more climbing up shelves which is approximately 2 storeys high(no kidding, fyi we dont use ladders), calling them up for my schedule, sweeping and mopping the floor after work, shouting seeing cockroach popping out from no where(haha!), entertaining customer, eating in the storeroom during break and going home very late at night. it all ends today. many thanks to abg lan who never fails to fetch me up from yewtee regardless he's busy studying for his final exams and also sometimes treating me ice-cream or double cheeseburger at mcdonald after work. i do have my happy moments with them. we joked, we shouted, we laughed and we fooled around. i made alot of new friends during my 2 months of working there. dayah tk sombong tau. i've been to many outlets to relief if they need more people around to tend the shop. the job is sooo tiring. not only do with have to find the shoes for the customers, we also have to entertain those good-bad-fickleminded-irritaing-nice customers. aint easy okay. if our shop does not have sizes the customers want or finish stock, we have to call the other outlets to check whether they have it. so troublesome you know! whats importance is that i've gained some experiences. im still not that confident about the cashiering part as i tend to kanchiong easily. haha! but its okay. at least i tried. better try than never as you will never know what you are capable of if you dont at least try. true? (:

from left: Daiza, Yin Kuan, Gretchendaiza and gretchen are from philippines while yin kuan is from malaysia.i find daiza very approchable, super nice and i even added her in facebook so that we dont lose contact. yin kuan is a funny lady and taught me some chinese language which until now im not sure how to pronounce. gretchen has an amazing voice, love her singing and i used to hate her. haha. she's fine once you know her.
this is huilin, my shop manager. cant clearly see her face though. she's sweet and fierce at times. she have loads of tattoos, no doubt, but that doesnt make her a bad lady. she's friendly too.
here's my handsome and muscular storeman name Yi Dong who puts back the shoes in a flash despite of the many shoes he has to clear up. he's from china. sometimes when im lazy to take the shoes from right at the top shelves he'll come to my rescue. i know everyone there loves him including me!i still have 2 of more senior colleagues but doesnt have the chance to have their photos. tangli, my china friend, is one of my favourite colleague. she's the nicest. she will help me whenever im in need. ema, my assistant shop manager, are nice at times and sarcastic most of the times. just look at her eyebrows and you will assume that she's fierce. well yeah she is. but whenever she start laughing, she will laugh non-stop. i still remember she pick up a dead real cockroach with her bare hand to scare daiza and huilin off until they run out the shop due to fear. funny moments i must say.
this is me of course.so farewell Charles & Keith! thankyou for the opportunity.goshhhh.. i didnt realise i have written so many in just one post. i shall stop now.
its getting late now. aint sleepy yet. i thought of heading to the gym tomorrow. not yet confirm. its either i go to the gym or just stay at home.
